Curlews Cooee This song came about when Pete and I were sitting on the veranda not long after we had left the farm and Pete hit a chord on the guitar and it had a story to it. It captures that day and what was happening around us at the time.
Pioneering Days (Awarded the Barry Thornton Memorial Encouragement Award for this self-penned song at Bungendore 2008) My grandad’s nickname was Bullocky Bill and this song tells about his life and what was the priority in his generation.
Through these Eyes I think we all really want to be seen for who we are not what we look like.
Crushing Time This is what my husband Pete and I do for a living. The excitement of the sugar crush can be heard through this story.
So It Begins Again I think we have all had someone in our lives that we find hard to let go of. |

Heaven’s Park (Single out now on NFS 120) This is a family story and what prompted me to write it is how life is perceived from a child.
City Boy, Country Heart I know plenty of city boys who just love the beauty and serenity of the bush so here’s to you boys.
Like Water A very special story about my husband Peter and his Dad about the tough choices you have to make sometimes in life.
Gypsy Song (O da le he) This song was inspired by my mum Beryl who loves to travel around and just be. I’m sure many of you caravaners can see yourselves in this song.
The Story of Lou and Joe This is a story told to me by my dad Fred about a couple of characters from the valley. It captures a period in time also tells the fun competition between the farmers albeit tongue in cheek
