When you combine a rural upbringing in a picturesque country valley with an inherent musical talent, it’s no wonder singer/songwriter Lana Ross has something special to offer country music.

Residing in the small sugar-growing town of Marian in Queensland, the naturally-gifted country singer/songwriter draws her inspiration from her country roots and variety-filled life, churning out some spine-tingling lyrics about love, life family and the sugar cane farming way of life.

Although she is quite new to the industry, having only started getting serious about her music in the past four years, music has played a major role in her life since childhood when her parents, also avid country music lovers, instilled the sounds of many renowned artists into the lives of their four children.

Lana’s debut album Stories To Tell is produced by the talented Lindsay Butler  whose amazing guitar talents are featured on the album. It has been a fantastic union between the two. All songs on the album are written by Lana and have been beautifully interpreted by this talented producer and musician.

Still on a high after attending the 2008 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Lana treasures the experience and warm response to her performances.

Lana offers a unique vocal and songwriting style which draws you in a little closer to listen to what she has to say.

From Heaven’s Park to Like Water and the haunting sounds of Curlews Cooee, these are just a few of the beautiful offerings from her debut album to start you off. Lana will take you on an emotional ride through her music and lyrics.
